Clearance: NATO Secret or equivalent
Location: Oeiras, Portugal

• Recent experience (at least 5 years) with providing training on highly technical subjects to both non-technical personnel as well as technical specialists
• Professional experience in learning delivery methodologies for adult learners
• Previous experience with online and blended learning technologies including Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Demonstrable practical experience in the operation, testing, and maintenance of modern Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems
• Demonstrable in-depth knowledge in SATCOM communication technology
• Antenna sub-systems (e.g. Radome, feed horn, reflector, pedestal, waveguides, tracking receiver, control systems)
• Transmitting and receiving chains (e.g. Combiners/Dividers, frequency converters, Low Noise Amplifiers, High Power Amplifiers)
• Baseband and modem (e.g. Routing, Switching, digital and modulation processes)
• Testing and maintenance (e.g. Spectrum Analysers, Signal Analysers, Power Meters, interpreting electronic/electrical diagrams, Satellite link and equipment test procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance actions)
• Experience in teaching SATCOM systems. Desirable: Working in a NATO SATCOM deployed exercise or operation environments, or equivalent experience
